Team up with the Lone Survivor Foundation, and Carolina Arms Group!

The Lone Survivor Foundation has teamed up with Guns for a Cause to bring you an exceptional, truly “one of a kind” offering, from Carolina Arms Group.

The Lone Survivor Foundation is devoted to restoring the lives of wounded service members, and their families. The Lone Survivor Foundation accomplishes their goals of empowering and restoring health, wellness, and hope to these wounded veterans by providing therapeutic support through retreats, counseling, and by providing a support network of other combat veterans who are able to connect, accept, and help wounded service members “where they are.” One overall goal of the Lone Survivor Foundation is to help wounded vets in need to successfully integrate back into civilian life, and to transition into post-military life. The Lone Survivor Foundation also exists to support family members of our combat vets during this transition time.

In the words of Marcus Luttrell, the Lone Survivor Foundation was established to provide a holistic, integrated approach to restoring hope and wellness to our veterans and their families. For more information about the Lone Survivor Foundation, please visit www.lonesurvivorfoundation.org.

In order to help with funding their mission, the Lone Survivor Foundation has paired up with another veteran owned organization, the Carolina Arms Group, in order to offer an exceptional, one of a kind, commemorative 1911 pistol. This pistol has been hand crafted in a modern facility, under the expert craftsmanship of experienced CAG gunsmiths and technicians. As a veteran owned company, CAG understands the special needs our service men and service women face when they come home. The Carolina Arms Group produces exceptionally well crafted 1911 pistols on a daily basis, but because of the mission, this prize pistol has been lavished with some “extra special” attention.

Built along the lines of CAG’s newest “Veteran” model, this gun features unique engraving which sets this gun apart as a tribute to those who have served our great nation. The “Lone Survivor Foundation” logo is present, as is a star-spangled “USA” banner at the nose of the slide. “Old Glory” adorns the custom wood grips, making for a striking commemorative that stands head and shoulders above so many of the more gaudy embellishments which are common to commemorative guns. This pistol is ready to serve proudly, yet in an understated manner, just like so many of our veterans which it is designed to honor.

It is almost a letdown to discuss the technical specifications of the pistol, but rest assured, the match grade barrel and fitted bushing, coupled with the excellent fiber optic sight system, will assure you of hitting your target, as long as the shooter does his or her part. For only $20 per ticket, this exceptional firearm might become the centerpiece of your own personal collection. Win or lose, you’ll know that you’ve had the honor of supporting an amazing organization that gives hope to our vets, who have already made such a sacrifice for each of us.

The winner of this pistol will be drawn on Monday, the 27th of February, 2017. If tickets are still available, the prize gun will be on display at the SHOT Show in January, but we wouldn’t recommend waiting that long to jump in and order your tickets!

Contestants need not be present to win. Entries will be electronically logged and you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your “e-Ticket” number(s). The drawing will be conducted by an independent accounting firm. See Official Drawing Rules for details.

Credit card donations are encrypted. Currently, Guns for a Cause accepts donations through Visa, Master Card, and Discover.

Please note: Due to U.S. postal regulations (18 U.S.C. Section 1302), raffle ticket stubs cannot be returned by mail for purchases over the Internet, through the mail or by telephone. When an order is placed, we will add the donor’s information including name, address, e-mail address and phone number, into our database. Each “ticket” will then be assigned a computer generated randomized number. The winning “ticket” shall also be selected by using a random number generator, thus creating a “double blind” selection process. The winner will be notified based on the name and contact information provided by the donor, at the time of the donation.
