Kara’s HoPE

Sig Sauer MPX 9mm Pistol Event

Congratulations to Daniel G. from from Summerville, SC. Dan is the winner of the Sig MPX 9mm Pistol. Dan's ticket, # 294223 was drawn as the lucky winner!

For our latest fundraising event, we’re excited to bring you the opportunity to win one of the hottest new 9mm pistols on the market today! You could be the lucky winner to take home a Sig Sauer MPX 9mm pistol.

Guns for a Cause is hosting this fundraiser on behalf of Kara’s HoPE. Proceeds from this event will help fund the ongoing mission of that organization to provide relief to families with children who are coping with the effects of Holoprosencephaly (HPE). Holoprosencephaly is an incurable brain anomaly which is life limiting at best, and most often terminal in infancy.

The MPX pistol from Sig Sauer is built for pure performance and is suitable for multiple tasks, including home defense, action competition, and law enforcement use. This particular MPX pistol is equipped with an arm brace which facilitates the safe, one handed use of the firearm. This arm brace folds conveniently out of the way for storage and transport, and provides the user with a handgun system that can be easily transported to and from the shooting range in a low-profile manner. As a 5 lb semi-automatic handgun, recoil is negligible, and accurate follow-up shots are the norm, rather than the exception.

This MPX comes already equipped with flip up iron sights, and with a full length rail system, the winner can add optics of their choice. The aluminum handguard system also features mounting points for lights and lasers which adapt this platform even more for nighttime or low light environments. The monolithic upper receiver also features a free-floated barrel system for enhanced accuracy at longer distances. The 8 inch barrel provides accuracy and velocity not typically found in smaller handgun platforms, making this an ideal firearm for some action-shooting sports. The MPX also features a familiar, AR style trigger mechanism and an ambidextrous safety lever for right or left handed use.

There will be a strict limit of only 2,500 tickets available. We expect this event to sell out for this highly sought-after and unique pistol. The Sig Sauer 9mm MPX pistol retails for nearly $2,000. Tickets for this event are just $20 and will be available only through 11:00 pm (Eastern) on the 28th of August, 2016.

We will draw a winner on Monday, the 29th of August, 2016. A cash alternative prize will be made available to participants in California or any other jurisdiction where this specific firearm may be prohibited.

Contestants need not be present to win. Entries will be electronically logged and you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your “e-Ticket” number(s). The drawing will be conducted by an independent accounting firm. See Official Drawing Rules for details.

Credit card donations are encrypted. Currently, Guns for a Cause accepts donations through Visa, Master Card, and Discover.

Please note: Due to U.S. postal regulations (18 U.S.C. Section 1302), raffle ticket stubs cannot be returned by mail for purchases over the Internet, through the mail or by telephone. When an order is placed, we will add the donor’s information including name, address, e-mail address and phone number, into our database. Each “ticket” will then be assigned a computer generated randomized number. The winning “ticket” shall also be selected by using a random number generator, thus creating a “double blind” selection process. The winner will be notified based on the name and contact information provided by the donor, at the time of the donation.
