Kara's HoPE

Elite Warrior Armament Premier Grade 1911 Raffle

Congratulations go out to Robert B. from Warsaw, New York. Robert's ticket, # 177792 was radomly drawn as the winner of the May fundraiser for Kara's HoPE.

Noted gunsmith Chuck Warner is the driving force behind Elite Warrior Armament. Some of you may know Warner as the developer of the 9x23 cartridge, which can best be described as a Super .38 on a massive dose of steroids. Warner is also the creative force behind the “True Radius” sear, which allows for an amazingly light “feeling” trigger, while still maintaining safety within the fire control mechanism of a modern handgun. With three decades in the industry, it’s safe to say Warner is a creative force to be reckoned with… For the month of May, it is with great pleasure that we present the “Premier Grade” 1911 .45 pistol for our latest fundraising event.

Guns for a Cause is hosting this fundraiser on behalf of Kara’s HoPE. Proceeds from this event will help fund the ongoing mission of that organization to provide relief to families with children who are coping with the effects of Holoprosencephaly (HPE). Holoprosencephaly is an incurable brain anomaly which is life limiting at best, and most often terminal in infancy.

The Premier Grade pistol features a host of custom touches seldom found on a production line pistol. In addition to being manufactured from 100% made in the USA billet steel, the Premier Grade 1911 features a flat topped slide for quicker sight acquisition, “ball cuts” and machine bevels on each side of the slide, for less wear and tear on the end user, and Warner’s “3D” rear sight which is blended into the slide profile, while still allowing for one handed manipulations during emergency situations.

The two-tone appearance of this pistol stems from the use of stainless steel in the frame, as opposed to a surface treatment which may wear or flake off, and a carbon steel slide which has been polished to a beautiful sheen. Riding in the slide is one of Warner’s own barrels, machined and profiled in his own shop for precision fitment to his own pistols. These barrels will set a new standard for accuracy within the industry.

A laundry list of features would include a precision fit stainless steel barrel bushing and recoil spring cap, an almost seamless fit high grip beavertail safety, and blended checkering on both front and rear of the grip frame, topped off with traditional double diamond premium Goncalves wooden stocks. From the genuine gold bead front sight, to the expertly blended magazine well, all of these features, combined with match winning reliability and accuracy, make the EWA Premier Grade worth every cent of its $3,995 MSRP. As a limited introductory run of just 12 pistols, the winner of our May fundraiser will receive a handgun that will not only hold its value, but will be worthy of becoming a valued family heirloom.

As of this writing, these handguns are just hitting the market, and we think it’s safe to say that your best chance to add this match pistol to your own collection may be to grab a few raffle tickets before this event ends. One lucky winner will take delivery of this unique and desirable custom handgun.

There will be a strict limit of only 2,500 tickets available, we expect this event to sell out for this highly sought-after custom pistol package. Elite Warrior Armament “Premier Grade” 1911 retails for nearly $4,000. Tickets for this event are just $20 and will be available only through 11:00 pm (Eastern) on the 29th of May, 2016. Drawing to be held on May 30th, 2016. A cash alternative prize will be made available to participants in California, or any other jurisdiction where this specific firearm may be prohibited.

Contestants need not be present to win. Entries will be electronically logged and you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your “e-Ticket” number(s). The drawing will be conducted by an independent accounting firm. See Official Drawing Rules for details.

Please note: Due to U.S. postal regulations (18 U.S.C. Section 1302), raffle ticket stubs cannot be returned by mail for purchases over the Internet, through the mail or by telephone. When an order is placed, we will add the donor’s information including name, address, e-mail address and phone number, into our database. Each “ticket” will then be assigned a computer generated randomized number. The winning “ticket” shall also be selected by using a random number generator, thus creating a “double blind” selection process. The winner will be notified based on the name and contact information provided by the donor, at the time of the donation.
