Ed Brown Special Forces SR Raffle
Congratulations to Bill G. of Arlington, TX.
Bill had ticket number 181413 and is the winner of the Ed Brown Special Forces SR Pistol.
It is with great pleasure that we present the Ed Brown, “Special Forces SR” 1911 .45 pistol, for our latest fundraising event. Guns for a Cause is hosting this fundraiser on behalf of Kara’s HoPE. Proceeds from this event will help fund the ongoing mission of that organization to provide relief to families with children who are coping with the effects of Holoprosencephaly (HPE). Holoprosencephaly is an incurable brain anomaly which is life limiting at best, and most often terminal in infancy.
From the Ed Brown website:
The Special Forces SR pistol from Ed Brown is built for pure performance and extreme use. We started with our government model frame with integral light rail, and added a fully blended magwell for a smooth fit and quick magazine changes. Ready for use with a suppressor, our threaded barrel is standard on this model. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and is complete with a Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) sight, which is the most rugged miniature red dot sight available, and has the versatility to be used in any lighting condition. Trijicon tall iron night sights complete the sight set up, providing the perfect backup sight system. A unique and highly durable Chainlink III pattern provides a secure grip for severe applications. Whether you're shooting for pleasure, or for tactical use, the Special Forces SR has everything you need for serious peformance in a dedicated suppressor 1911 pistol.
There will be a strict limit of only 2,500 tickets available. We expect this event to sell out for this highly sought-after custom pistol package. The Ed Brown, “Special Forces SR” 1911 .45 pistol retails for nearly $4,000. Tickets for this event are just $20 and will be available only through 11:00 pm (Eastern) on the 10th of July, 2016.
We will draw a winner on Monday, the 11th of July, 2016. A cash alternative prize will be made available to participants in California, or any other jurisdiction where this specific firearm may be prohibited.
Credit card donations are encrypted. Currently, Guns for a Cause accepts donations through Visa, Master Card, and Discover.
Please note: Due to U.S. postal regulations (18 U.S.C. Section 1302), raffle ticket stubs cannot be returned by mail for purchases over the Internet, through the mail or by telephone. When an order is placed, we will add the donor’s information including name, address, e-mail address and phone number, into our database. Each “ticket” will then be assigned a computer generated randomized number. The winning “ticket” shall also be selected by using a random number generator, thus creating a “double blind” selection process. The winner will be notified based on the name and contact information provided by the donor, at the time of the donation.
